Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply seeking an excuse to switch up your dining routine, 205 Dry promises an experience filled with memorable moments and delightful flavors. As noted by enthusiastic reviewers, the restaurant's commitment to quality and service makes it a standout destination in Binghamton. Reservations are recommended to enjoy dinner and perhaps a captivating show at the bar, making 205 Dry not just a meal, but a full-bodied experience.

Moody and energetic all at once, this spot exudes speakeasy vibes with a touch of sophistication. The drinks are creative and edgy, with descriptions that might seem intimidating at first. If you're unsure, just ask the bartenders—they go the extra mile to break down every ingredient, and trust me, the drinks are worth it. The food menu offers a great selection of small plates and features, perfect for sharing. Don’t be misled by reviews suggesting it’s pricey. It’s not cheap, but it’s definitely not Nobu. I highly recommend this place for a date night, special occasion, or just to soak in the unique atmosphere and switch things up.

A great atmosphere for fine dining with a speakeasy feel. Spacious and brighter that the usual decor. The food was awesome and Lisa the mixologist knew what to make for the occasion. Reservations are recommended. However, if you get there early enough, you should be able to sit at the bar. A plus because you get dinner and a show!

We were in the area looking for a place to eat and we're so glad we found 205 Dry! First, the experience is so unique and so cool. The restaurant is designed to be like an old speakeasy - the entrance is even behind a book case that is the door! Once you get into the restaurant, you'll find a bustling place with a large bar and dining area. We had a few cocktails, a couple of appetizers, and burgers and everything was delicious! The cocktails were all good, and the feature cocktails were very unique. For appetizers, we had the cauliflower and fried Brussels sprouts. Both are very good. The burgers and fries were well prepared and seasoned. For dessert I had an ice cream sandwich made with bourbon ice cream and snickerdoodles and it was excellent! We would absolutely go back!

This was my second time visiting 205 and it was just as good as the first. We made a reservation Friday night and showed up at our specified time. We were promptly seated and given menus. We of course had some drinks as well as the special of the Filet Mignon with Garlic Potatoes and Brussels Sprouts. The drinks were fabulous with our favorite being the strawberry mule! The food came out in a reasonable time and was amazing. I would definitely recommend to anyone in the area.

205 Dry is probably my favorite restaurant in Binghamton. I love a good speakeasy. Great music, the drinks are top notch, the food is fantastic, and the service and overall vibe is what keeps us coming back.

I love it here but especially on Thursdays when they have their steak special. This review is from my Thursday visit. The drinks are delicious but for me two is plenty. I had their Hang Glider and Freshly fizzed. I also had a sip of the mock-tail, Peach Dream, which was fantastic! All drinks were delicious! We had the bechamel parmesan meatballs starter which was great, along with the toast to soak up the delicious sauce. The steak was tender and cooked nicely, the smashed potatoes were nice in the wine reduction sauce (the sauce I’d dip anything into). I had the soup with my dish, which was chicken gumbo, it was very good. We split the creme brulee for dessert, which was the right move. The texture is more of a pudding with the crunchy sugar topping. Our waiter was Chris and he was great, very attentive.

We loved everything about our visit to 205 Dry! Was the perfect place to celebrate my daughter’s graduation. We were seated on the patio, which I recommend for older guests as the chairs and table were more traditional style for dining and it was easy for my elderly father-in-law to hear our conversation. Food and atmosphere were great and service was outstanding.

It’s rare to find a place that’s all around excellent. The entrance is beyond innovative. The “secret” menu on page 205 is brilliant. Food was excellent. Service spectacular. I can’t wait to go back.
